Strawberry Fields!!!

I have to say these are some of my favs from that weekend crop!! I was hoping to enter them in some challenge but I didn't come across any that worked.
I took Kieran and Azelyn berry picking at my cousin's U Pick farm (in Massey, ON) at the beginning of July. I don't think either of them had ever been to a farm like this before. They thought they were in heaven being surrounded by all of those delicious strawberries!! Even with them being small it didn't take long to fill a couple of baskets!! which was a good thing because the clouds started to roll in and we could hear thunder in the distance.
I played it safe and carried the baskets under each arm on the way back to the car. I didn't want to chance the handles of the baskets giving out and dumping all of those gorgeous berries!! I should have got a picture of me too!  I realized, once I put the baskets down, that I had two big strawberry juice stains on my shirt, it looked like someone had grabbed my boobs with strawberries all over their hands!! I never did get those stains out!! Thank goodness I happened to have a spare shirt in the car!

The patterned paper I used was MME (So Sofie- Savvy- In Love) It was perfect for these pictures!! I was so happy when we found it in the bins!! The cs, ribbon, pins, stamps, buttons and chipboard are all CTMH. The letters in the first layout are MME and the title on the second layout was done with the Storybook cartridge on the cricut. The strawberry was a heart and I added some fancy corners to the top.

74/78 complete!!  (the other 4 pages are complete but won't be posted until the New Year, I finished the last one today!!)

First Day

This is my little miss' first day of school. One thing that sucks about being a teacher is that you don't get to put your own kids on the bus ): so that is Daddy's job. I think he got more picks of the baby bears up in the tree then he did of the kids but...
I used BoBunny paper, which I have used before for a summer and a winter layout (guess I really like it eh!?)    I think I used an MS punch for the border. The cs, stamps (except for the Student one), chipboard alpha, and buttons are all CTMH

70/78 complete, more to come later!!

He is...

Fantastic!!
This is the second layout from CTMH's Mischief workshop on the go. The pictures are from Kieran's SK Grad so I thought the books in the layout worked. I have to say the planning that went into this kit was amazing!! I did all 3 projects and every little thing you could think of was thought of!!! Those designers at CTMH are smart cookies (:
I used the cricut to cut out the diecut edge.

The graduation was very cute!! Each of the kids got up on stage to tell us what they plan to do when they grow up (: Kieran is planning to be a firefighter and a policeman so that he can help people and stop the bad guys. That is his kindergarten teacher in the one pic with him.

 I will have more tomorrow!!

68/78 layouts complete!!  (another 9 I just haven't posted):
which means I need to do one page tomorrow!!!

Hawks

I just realized I have a bunch of layouts I finished in October that I still haven't posted!! I need to get them in before Sunday, I guess!!
I've been busy trying to organize my house a bit and get my scrap room back to myself! My sweet hubby gave me a new laptop for Christmas so I have been able to reclaim the counter space that was taken up by the old one (which had to be set up as a desktop because the screen went, a year ago)!! Talk about excitement!!!
Anyway, this layout was inspired by one I saw in Scrapbooks, etc, (whatever issue would have been mailed in October). The pictures are of my oldest, Codie, playing football for his high school team. It only lasted a few weeks before he decided football wasn't his thing. He had actually been "convinced" by his very angry mother that he should give it a try (long story!! let's just say he told the VP he had too many chores at home and so he wouldn't be able to stay for practices and games) for the spring and then it would be up to him if he played in the fall.
I used a mish mash of paper (basic grey, CTMH, Karen Foster..) on this one and all of the stitching was done with the help of my Sew Easy, if you notice there isn't as much stitching on the second page (:
The letters were cut out with the cricut and the stamp is CTMH.

These make 66/78 pages complete, more to come tomorrow!!

Birthday Girl!!

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY goes out to my wonderful GF Kirsty on December 22nd!! She got this card a little early because I actually finished one in time for Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge (a sketch) this week and I needed to post it before the weekend!
Kirsty always makes such beautiful cards for everyone she knows, so even if I don't make a single other card all year, I think it is important to make one for her!! Now according to her, the more bling on the card, the more you like the person, so I made sure I used one of my best fancy flowers on her card (:

The paper is MME, cs, ribbon, and the sentiment are CTMH and the image is of course Kraftin' Kimmie, which was coloured with copics!! I cut the circle out with my new Elegant Edges cricut cartridge. The flowers are Recollections. The leaves were punched with an MS punch.

SNOW!!

We have a bit of it, but hopefully we'll get more for Christmas!! It can leave by January 31st though (: Wishful thinking, I know!!
These layouts are of some pics my Mom took when the boys were staying with her 2years ago. I had to go by the boys' snowsuits to figure out if it was last year or the year before. Kieran hasn't grown too much in that time!!
Aidan, with some help from Kieran, made a whole snow family up at the top of Mom & Dad's driveway. My kids call my Mom, Hunny, Snow Hunny is the one with the beautiful hair (: Mom said the family stuck around for weeks!! She's hoping the boys will build her a new family this year (:
The pages were done using CTMHs Wonderland WOTG, and I still had lots of paper left for cards!! The little stamp that comes with the kit is very cute!! The title was stamped with our Friendship Alphabet. I love the new Pin Clips, you just put a bit of bling in the middle and fancy things up (:

RIBS!!!!

Look at my little lady!!! I couldn`t believe it when I saw her walking towards me, with that huge plate of ribs, just mowing down!! My cousin`s husband makes unbelievable ribs and Azelyn decided she should try some out (: Needless to say she didn't finish them all but she made a good attempt. Good thing the lake was close by to wash her face in!!
The paper is BoBunny, the chipboard, brads and background stamps are all CTMH, I used the Graphically Speaking cartridge to cut the title, a white uniball to journal, Stickles,  and a MS punch for the border.
I am going to enter this in the 2 Sisters Challenge, punches and/or die cuts, and over at Wee Memories, Free For All challenge.

My Girl

I don't very often get to scrap pics of me so I was very anxious to find just the right paper, layout and embellies for this one of Azelyn and I. I have to say it was tough trying to find paper that worked with the shirt I was wearing but with Melissa's help I did it!! It is the same Kaiser Kraft paper I used for my Kraftin' Kimmie Day layout but it is such fabulous paper!!
I made my first ribbon flower using a gluber!! The center is a button I got out of my Aunt's button jar (: I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. The other flowers are Recollection. The bling is Zva and Kaiser. The crocheted lace is dollar store. I cut the circle die cut with cricut's Elegant Edges (an amazing cartridge!!), the title with Storybook, and the leaves with an MS punch. The cs is BoBunny Double Dot!! I am so in love with that paper!! It makes matching so much easier!! The layout was inspired by one I saw in Scrapbooks Etc.
I'm thinking I might actually frame this one for my living room, my walls are purple (: so it would go really well.

I am entering this layout in Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge- Borders and Flowers.

Believe...

it or not, I'm back!! I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post ): I've been pretty busy over the last few weeks, between work, my kids, Halloween, and being away every other weekend!!!

I had a beautiful weekend last weekend at Blue Mountain Resort!! A bunch of us girls went away for my Aunt Nise's 60th birthday. We had a blast shopping at all of the wonderful little stores, eating at the fabulous restaurants, and spending the afternoon at the Scandinave Spa!! I would recommend it to anyone!!

Two weeks before that I was away at Fall Flurry, a weekend that the ladies from OC Scrapbookers put on. It has quickly become an annual event for my friend Jen and I!! We are like little kids before Christmas, counting down the days (: I thought I would do a few layouts and then maybe get my Christmas cards done while I was there, but I was having such a good time with the layouts that that is all I did all weekend!! I managed to complete 20 pages!! My record so far for these weekends. I just finally got pictures taken today (it's not raining or snowing so I could go outside and take them) so now I should have some regular posts for awhile!

The layout I am posting today is actually the one I did with my Scrapping Group last Friday. It is the first layout from CTMHs Believe WOTG. I changed it up a bit by swapping some of the papers, using the Cocktail Alpha stamp and adding some Liquid Applique to santa but other then that it is pretty much the same. All products are CTMH except for the copics I used to colour Santa's suit.
The pics are of my kids last Christmas morning. It's not very often I get Codie in pics with the little ones these days so these will be special when they are older. They were all still a little bit sleepy but I think they're cute (:

Spooktacular

Happy Sunday!! Man am I glad this week is done!! Lee has been away hunting and I had a million and one things going on!!! Parent Teacher Interviews at my school, scrapbooking group, a Christmas card workshop.... on top of all of the other regular day to day things!! Thank goodness I have Codie to help out!!

I am really wishing I was in London today so that I could be taking part in all of the fun at Kraftin' Kimmie Day!! but unfortunately I couldn't make it ): I went last year and had a blast and I would have loved to go this year to meet the amazing Annie Rodrigue in person! not to mention Kraftin Kimmie Girl Tara who wasn't there last year.
Anyway, here I am at home doing laundry ):  (I know! I know! I'm having a little pity party for myself!!)

This layout is the one my scrapping group did this month. It is the Mischief WOTG from Close To My Heart, the same kit I used for the Halloween banner. I love how it turned out and it was pretty straight forward to do. The felt shapes add so much and are so easy!! The stamp set that comes with this workshop is fabulous!! I can see myself using it over and over again. The title was done using Posterboard Alpha.
The pics are of my kids 2 years ago. They weren't the best pics but they worked well for this layout.

My dear blogging friend Roxy reminded me that this would be perfect for the challenge over at Creative Accents so I am going to enter it in their October: Use the colour Orange Challenge.

The kids and I are off to the grocery store to pick out some pumpkins!! Have a great week!!

Sunshine

Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone!!! I have been spending the morning downloading songs to add to my new Ipod Shuffle that I bought so I would have something to keep me entertained while I try out a thing called exercise ): I signed my whole family up at the Y at the beginning of September and just finally got in to meet with one of their trainers to set up an exercise/weight program for myself. I'm actually quite excited to get started I just hope I am motivated enough to stick with it. I'm already feeling muscles I didn't know I had just from testing out the weights the other night ):
The kids have been enjoying it though!! They are all doing swimming lessons plus one other thing. Aidan is enjoying Judo which will be good for him because discipline is a big thing!! Azelyn is in Kindergym and Kieran is our little gymnastics superstar!!! They put him into the advanced boys after one day in beginners (: I knew there had to be a sport out there for him!!!

Anyway, this is a layout I did of Azelyn using the CTMH Sophia workshop on the go. I have had this kit along with the pics just sitting there begging to be put together so I finally did it!! Everything is CTMH except for the border punch which was Martha's. I made a stamping boo boo with the bird at the top but I don't think it even really shows??

I think that this layout completes my challenge for this year!!!! and I still have my weekend crop in a couple of weeks to get a bunch done!! Maybe I will challenge myself to another 26 pages before the end of the year just to keep me going (:

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Birthdays are good for you...

the more you have the longer you live!
My Dad's 60th was yesterday and we are having what was supposed to be a surprise party (Mom caved) tonight.
I loved this little LOTV image and thought it would be perfect for his card. I used MME Stella & Rose Hattie paper, and CTMH sentiment and hemp. I stamped this cutie in Momento ink and then coloured him with my copics. I cut the image out with my Spellbinder die.
I am going to enter this in Cute Card Thursday's challenge 184 Animal Crackers.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Spooky

I have been loving the WOTG from Close To My Heart!! They are so quick and easy!! They have changed them up a bit in the new catalogue, now instead of always having cards as the extra project they are also including other fun things to do! This is the bonus project from the Mischief kit. I thought it was so cute, I had to try it!! Now the even bigger bonus was, I had just received my new Art Philosophy cricut cartridge (new to CTMH) and was able to use it to cut out the pennants and the letters!!! No tracing and cutting out required (: I just double checked the size of our chipboard banner to make sure I cut them the right size.
I really like the way it turned out!!

I got away to a day crop yesterday (: and managed to get one layout done in between helping people cut things with the Art Philosophy cartridge!! I will have to post another day though, time to get back to planning for my classes!!
I have to apologize to those of you I have been slacking on the comments for!! I don't get many free minutes on the computer these days ): I will try to play catch up soon!!!

Follow You Dreams

Well it's back to school time and I am back to working full time!! So that means the slacking on posts may continue here and there!! I am at a new school this year teaching math to grade 9 & 10 kids and so far so good!! The kids and the staff have been fabulous (:
I got together with the girls Friday night and I finished up the You and Me kit from CTMH. This layout is of Kieran when we went to Science North over the March Break this past year. He was having a blast with the microscopes and goggles (:

I also had a chance to play with the new Art Philosophy cricut cartridge from CTMH on Saturday, while visiting with my GF Deb (thanks Deb!!), and I must say it was worth every penny!!!! The things you can cut!!! I made 4 different types of rolled flowers, I made a Halloween Banner, I cut out a full page die cut for scrapbooking, along with many different types of card bases!!! For those of you going to the crop in Cutler in 2 weeks I will be bringing it with me for a demo.

Anyway, I hope you all had a good start to the school year and hopefully I'll be back soon (:

I Didn't Forget You Birthday!!

I just extended the Celebration! is what it says inside. I didn't actually forget my niece's birthday but we weren't home for it. So, here she is getting her card 2 weeks later!! This card is actually a gift card holder (we learned to make them last year at Kraftin' Kimmie Day, thanks Andrea!!). Madeline is going away to University on Saturday and I know there are Tim Hortons on campus, so I am going to get a Timmies card to put in it. That way she'll be guaranteed to have her morning coffee for a bit (:
The paper is MME Lime Twist-Happy Go Lucky (love the Lime Twist line!!), cs is CTMH, and I coloured this adorable little House Mouse stamp in with my copics, and cut it out with Spellbinders. Buttons are from my stash and the twine is Sew Easy.

On my way to CMT Countryfest!!! Have a great weekend!!

Mouse Wedding Card

OK, first off I have to apologize for being MIA for so long!!! Between being at camp and family weddings/get togethers it's been a busy summer!! My Mojo has been missing as well, so today I decided to finish my cousin's wedding card (the wedding was on the 5th!!) with an image I have had coloured for awhile.
I absolutely love this little House Mouse stamp!! Aren't they adorable? I coloured them in with my copics (Thanks again Kirst!!)and cut them out with my Spellbinders. I used BG Kioshi paper so I can enter this card in BG's Anything Goes challenge. The flowers are Prima and Recollections, cs is CTMH.

I am going away again this weekend (CMT Countryfest with my GF Stacey!!) but I am hoping to get caught up on everyone's blogs soon (:

Here is a "card" Azelyn was working on this afternoon (:

Berry Sweet

This is the layout that goes with the one I posted a few weeks ago. It is the second layout I made using the Mayberry WOTG. I love the canvas buttons!! They are so easy to stamp on and add that little extra to a layout. I switched the colours up from what they were supposed to be and the half circle borders were done using B&T instead of stamped paper. The title was done with the Token Alphabet stamp.
These pics are of my two youngest picking berries at camp last year. Can you tell I'm a scrapbooker?? I even remembered to take a close up of the berries (:

Parents - Scrap & Stamp Challenge

Long time no see!!! I feel like I'm so out of touch with reality these days!!! I am enjoying camp though and have had a chance to do some reading (: I just finished The Book of Negros (amazing by the way) and have moved on to Room. I hope you are all having a chance to enjoy the warm weather without melting away!! It's so hot here I'm even breaking a sweat scrapbooking ):

Anyway, this weeks challenge at Scrap & Stamp is to do a layout which involves Parents in some way. For my layout I used pics of my parents, some old some new. All of the materials I used were part of CTMHs You & Me kit. It was hard to get the newer picture the same tone as the old pics but I hope they work OK together. I thought I would leave the journaling for my Mom to do that is why it is still blank.
So I hope you can join us this week and don't forget to use a stamp somewhere on your layout!!

Scrap & Stamp - Fishin'

This week's challenge at Scrap & Stamp is a sketch by our very own, very talented Vickey (:

sketch44

Just remember if you are playing along you also need to use a stamp somewhere on your layout!!

Here is my take on Vickey's sketch:

These pictures might be a bit familiar, I used some of Azelyn by herself on the last layout I did for S&S, but I wanted to scrap the rest so here they are (: You will notice one important member of the family is not in the pics, what else is new eh!?
For this layout I dug out an old paper pad I bought a few years ago and it worked perfectly!! It's from American Traditions?? The cs is CTMH and I ran it through my Cuttlebug to emboss it. The little licence plate is Karen Foster and the twine is from Sew Easy. The ink, buttons and stamps (Poster Board Alpha and It's a Beautiful Day) are all CTMH.

So I hope you will all play along and link yourself up over at the Scrap & Stamp blog!!! Have a great weekend!!

It's Party Time!!

I was just going through my pictures and realized I never posted the second layout I did using the Fanfare WOTG. I did both layouts using pics of Kieran's birthday but one was with his friends and the other is with family. We invited our parents to come for cake after the kids party was over. I made cupcakes for the kids party and served the cheesecake Kieran wanted when the adults came. I don't know about you but I wasn't going to put the work into the cheesecake just to have the kids waste it!!
The only thing I used on this layout that was not CTMH was the scalloped circle punch which was SU.

Summer is Here!!!

I thought I better post just to let you know that for the next couple of months my posts may be even more sporadic than they already are!! Codie is working out at camp again this summer, so the kids and I will be enjoying the sunshine at the beach (: I will try to post once and a while when I am home but it will all depend on how much laundry and grocery shopping I will need to get done ):

Here is another Close To My Heart WOTG layout I did with my group a couple of months ago. To be quite honest I wasn't a big fan of this kit at first but once I worked with it I fell in love!! The paper works with so many different themes and those little canvas buttons are great to stamp on!! It took me a bit to find some pics that would work with the workshop but I had fun searching through my old pictures!! I found these cute ones of Azelyn on her tricycle at camp last summer. Her dress matched the Mayberry paper perfectly.
All products used for this layout are CTMH.

Have a great summer everyone!! and I promise I will try to catch up on your blogs when I am home!!!

Thank You Very Much!!

OK so I am one of the worst procrastinators!! I took my niece down south on the March break to look at Universities. Along the way we stayed with some of my Mom's friends who were nice enough to let us bunk with them. I wanted to make them Thank You cards because I thought they deserved ones made with love (: Well here we are, over 3 months later and I just finished one of the cards I was supposed to make ): I've had the images coloured for about a month even!!!
Anyway, for this card I used the Mojo Monday sketch for this week, and added stitching so I could enter it in the Basic Grey challenge too!! I tried out my new Sew Easy but I'm sorry it wasn't so easy for me!!! If anyone has any pointers for being successful with it please pass them on!!! I ended up using my Tim Holtz ruler and paper piercer this time! The adorable little mouse is a Whipper Snapper stamp and the bt is Basic Grey's Sweet Threads (I love it!!). I also used MME twine, CTMH sentiment (inside), cs and ink, dollar store bling, a LOTV stamp, spellbinder and SU punch. I coloured the image in with my copics.

Catchin' Worms- Scrap & Stamp Challenge

This week our challenge Scrap & Stamp is SUMMER FUN!! That's an easy one for me because I have a tonne of pics from our summers!! Hopefully you have some summer pics kicking around so you can join us! Just remember to use a stamp somewhere on your page. Click on the link above to check out what the other DT created (:

These pics are from a day we went fishing out at camp (Lake Manitou on Manitoulin Island). The kids don't always like fishing with their Dad because he usually goes downrigging (you just keep going and going and going...) but this time we went for something other than Lake Trout so the kids got to use worms and cast and stuff. Lee got Azelyn all set up with her hook and worm and casted it out. She then reeled it in, with no fish. I was expecting her to be disappointed but instead she yelled "look!! look!! I caught a worm!!" She thought it was the best thing in the world (:

I found (thanks Roxy!!) this fabulous sketch from Sketches in Thyme so I can enter it in their June collection (: Products are MME and BG paper, CTMH cs, liquid glass, ink, and stamps (the little worm is from Wonderful Charms, and the 100% Girl is from Just for Girls). I used a SU circle punch for the border, Thickers letters and the star is Tim Holtz grungeboard.

Dad

This is the card I gave my Dad for Father's Day. My FILs was similar, but I didn't get a pic. The image is LOTV, and the paper is MME. I used my copics to colour this cute little guy. You will have to keep in mind that this was coloured under camper lights and I only had minimal supplies to put it together. I of course left this to the last minute and ended up having to finish it at camp ): I figured it was for a man and he wouldn't notice the imperfections a crafting woman might (:
Once again I had started this to enter CPS sketch challenge and missed the deadline ): but I am entering it in Card for Men challenge- stars

Live Today & Fun

I have had some of my CTMH WOTG layouts done for awhile and have just finally got around to taking some pics. These are the layouts for the Lucky workshop. I absolutely love this paper, I think it goes with just about any pics. All products used are CTMH. The stamp used on the titles is Rustic Alphabet. I realized after taking the pictures of the layouts that I forgot to journal first ): I will be sure to add it before putting them in the album.

The pics are of my oldest who is 16, with his baby sister who is 4. (my biggest baby and my smallest baby)
They usually get along OK, but lately Codie has been getting fed up with "the princess" always getting her way (when Daddy's around) or sucking when she doesn't (when Daddy's not around). The day these pics were taken though, they were having a good time together. Codie was being a nice big brother taking his sister for a quad ride, and Azelyn was being a little goofball (: You likely can't see it but in one of the small pics she was trying to lick him! My favourite pics are the 2 big ones on the second page, where he is helping her off the quad and where she is looking up at him.

I'm off to camp tomorrow, so have a good weekend and I will check out your blogs when I get back (:

Baby Blues- SSS Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone!!! This weeks challenge at Scrap & Stamp Saturday is the feature the men in your life. I have had this baby pic of my Dad kicking around for a bit, just begging to be scrapped, so I thought it would be perfect for this challenge (: It will be a part of his Father's Day gift. I started an album for my parents a while ago and try to add to it every once and a while. This isn't the original picture but I think it scanned fairly well for its age?!

The paper, ric rac and letters are all MME (Lush and Fine & Dandy), the little Bingo card is Jenni Bowlin, cs, chipboard and little clip are all CTMH. I also used a couple of CTMH background stamps on the "S" and the white cs.

I'm off on a Girls Weekend (my little cousin is getting marries this summer) but I will catch up on your blogs when I get back (:

For Baby

This was a quick card I made for my cousin's baby shower. She isn't due for another month but the doctor said in could be any day now!! Azelyn came with me to the shower and when my Dad asked her how the "Baby Party" was, she said " Good, but the baby didn't come out" ): Dad thought that was pretty funny (:

All products are CTMH except for the punch (SU) and the ribbon . I used Sophia paper and the Baby Love stamp set. I used the Mojo Monday sketch as my inspiration for this one,

Chickwawa -Scrap & Stamp

This weeks challenge at Scrap & Stamp is a Sketch!! Thanks Vickey, for the fabulous inspiration!! If you would like to play along with us just use this sketch as your inspiration, and be sure to use a stamp somewhere on you layout!!

I followed the sketch fairly close but when I was putting the title on, it worked better if a reversed the pages.
These pics are from Easter. My sister in law had just got a new Teacup Chihuahua and the kids fell instantly in love!! Even Lee, who says we're not getting a dog, was loving it! They almost had their Aunty Kelly convinced that she should hand over the dog and let them take him home. The title I used came from Azelyn, she couldn't stop talking about the Chickwawa (:

Most of the products I used were CTMH. This is the 3rd layout I did using the Lucky paper pack (I'll post the others once I have a chance to take pics) The stamp I used for the title was Baroque Alpha. The only thing not CTMH was the Tim Holtz grungeboard.

Have a fabulous weekend!! I can't wait to see what you create!!

Snow Mischief

I know!! I know!! Who wants to hear that word!!!! Sorry!! but...

Here are more pics from our ice fishing day on the March Break. I don't know who Aidan had in his sites but they were in trouble!! I think I used the sports setting on my camera to get these?? You'll have to click on the picture to blow it up so you can see his face in the big picture, he is such a little fart (: He even got my mom by accident one time, his face was priceless!!

Products Used: Bobunny Sunkissed dp, MS punch, random ribbon and buttons, CTMH cs and irresistable letters (these are fabulous!! you can ink them up any colour and they have different patterns)

My Princess

These pictures likely aren't what you were expecting but I just thought it would be so much fun to use them (: When I showed these pages to Kieran he thought they were pretty funny!
I started this layout at a crop I went to yesterday but I had to finish them at home this morning because I didn't realize I needed my liquid applique to do all of the cute little dots. This is CTMH's Sweetheart WOTG. The kits come with everything you need to make 4 pages and 6 cards (other than your inks and blocks) and they are perfect for day crops when you don't want to overpack. I think this was the lightest I've ever traveled to a crop (:
All products used are CTMH. I had to adjust a few things to make it work for my pics but other than a few paper size changes I followed the instructions in the guide.

Enjoy Dana (: I posted this one right away just for you!!

Scrap & Stamp Challenge - Old Supplies

This week's challenge at Scrap & Stamp is to use up some of your old supplies. So take out that paper you've been hoarding, or maybe some bling you just can't stand to part with and whip us up a layout (: Just don't forget to use a stamp!!
This October Afternoon paper has been in my stash for a bit, along with the CTMH chipboard and ribbon. The title was done using my new CTMH pennant alphabet, I absolutely love it!!! Anyone recognize the title??
These pictures are of Azelyn and Aidan singing happy birthday to Kieran!!! They are such funny kids (:

To Do List

So I did it again!!! I made this card for my Mom with the chocolate theme so that I could enter it in CCT chocolate challenge. I thought I had until 8 tonight to post it but it was 8 pm in Europe so once again I missed my deadline ): I can hear you laughing Roxy!!
Anyway, it was still fun to make and I think my Mom liked it (: I got to use my new House Mouse stamp and my new SU chocolate stamp so all is good!! The dp is BG, cs is CTMH, flowers are random, MS punch, cuttlebug embossing folder and copics (: I just got these new chalk inks so decided to try them out to shade the background. It didn't turn out exactly how I had it pictured but there was no turning back!!

Queen of Bling

These are pics of Azelyn on her birthday. She loves to get all done up (: The little purple shoes and outfit were all gifts for her birthday.
I don't remember what brand the paper is?? I picked it up from Deb and Alison at O.C. Scrapbookers quite awhile ago. I thought it was so pretty and I would find somewhere to use it (: The butterfly bling is Zva and the other one is just $ store. Cardstock, ribbon and stamps are CTMH, and I used the MS butterfly punch and border punch. My sweet friend Stacey did the stitching on the ribbon for me (:

Have a fabulous National Scrapbooking Day!!!!

Scrap & Stamp Challenge

This week at Scrap & Stamp the challenge is to make your own patterned paper. You can use stamps, ink, paint... Just have some fun and see what you can come up with (: and remember to use a stamp somewhere on your layout so that you qualify for the prize!! Once you're finished head over to the challenge blog and link yourself up!!

Instead of printing out new photos, lately I have been going through all of the pics I have printed off and never scrapbooked. This layout is of Codie, and the pics are form about 5 years ago!!! We were out at camp and he was searching for critters as usual (: I asked him if he could remember what was in the bucket and he's sure it was a baby ling.

I scraplifted this LO from the current CTMH catty. I wanted to use the February SOTM- Friendship to make my paper and I really liked the way this layout was put together. All of the paper, buttons, floss are CTMH. I used SU and EKSuccess punches, and chipboard from my stash.

Sorry the picture isn't fabulous but it was pouring rain here at the time so I had to take it inside.

Abracadabra meets Kraftin' Kimmie Day

I started this layout way back in October but didn't get around to finishing it, so it was one of the first projects I made myself work on when I was away at Spring Fling. The pictures are all from my fabulous trip to Kraftin' Kimmie Day in September and because I had so many that I wanted to include, I used a layout from CTMH's Magic book called Abracadabra. It uses our Flip Flaps and one page ends up being 6!!! So this one 2 page layout is actually 7 (: It took a lot of planning and figuring but I was very happy with the end result!

The main 2 page layout (includes pics of me with Krafty Girls; Kimmie, Andrea, Melanie, Krista, and Sheila from SGD)

This is the stamp that we received in our goody bags (:

The above pic is the flip flap page. Below is a pic of the first 2 flaps open.

Pics include my GFs Chantal & Debbie watching Melanie colouring and my GF Steph working at Andrea's table.

Below is a pic with all of the flaps opened (sorry for the glare but I had to take the pictures with the page protectors)

Close up of the inside page

Close up of the flaps (journalling is hidden) Pics include Sheila & her hubby Mike from SGD posing with their best customer of the day, my GF Kirsty (: and my GF Maria working away with Andrea

I met up with my friend Shanna (in pic with Kimmie and I) from Thunder Bay- it was such a nice surprise to see her there because it's been 5 years since I was in Thunder Bay!! The other pic is of the Junior Krafty Girls (:

I may still add some little tags for journaling here and there, but for now I am happy with it.

Products used: Ashlyn's Alphabet (cricut), Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, Kaiser Kraft Utopia paper, Prima flower, copics, spellbinder, CTMH flip flaps, cs, ribbon, and bling. $ store bling, SU punch.

22/52 pages (I didn't count this in my page count for last year because it wasn't done so I'm getting a boost this year (: )
