So are you out from under the snow yet!!? We just got a dump!!! At least a foot if not more fell through the night Friday until yesterday afternoon and our lovely city still has not plowed our street ): Gotta love it when a little town like Massey has their streets plowed first thing in the morning and we are still waiting the next afternoon!!!
Here's a pic of outside our house today. That's Lee snowblowing. If you look at the truck and camper you can see how much fell. I don't think there was any snow on them Friday afternoon.
Anyway, have I told you how much I fell in love when I saw CTMH's new Superhero paper!!?? I am a chemistry geek and have been searching for Jelli Bean Soup's Atomic Soup paper for months (with no luck) just to get my hands on that periodic table paper. I was so excited when I open the new Idea Book and there it is in my own catty!!! On top of that I had the perfect pictures to go with it!!!! Kieran had to be Captain America for Halloween and I have to say I hate spending $25 on a little cheap costume, but that is all he wanted to be, so I did. He did look darn cute in it though (: I cheaped out on the shield, there was no way I was paying another $20 for it, so I went to the dollar store, bought a silver platter and some coloured duct tape, used my cricut to cut out the star and Lee put it all together. I think it turned out pretty good (:
This layout is the main one in the WOTG. I made a few little changes but for the most part it is the same.
The stars are chipboard that are stamped on with one of the images in the stamp set. The cute little badge buttons come in the kit. I stamped the title with Rustic Alpha because I don't have the Super Hero Alpha yet.
This is my last week of work. My contract is up at the March Break (I was covering a mat leave) so maybe I will have a bit more time to scrap over the next few weeks!!!
Have a great week!!! and don't forget to check out Use It or Lose It's new challenge on Friday (:

Love the layout. This was my fav product in the new catty too!
ReplyDeleteWe've been getting snow, then melting, then more snow, then this morning it was -14, now I think it's melting again - GGGGRRRRRR!!! Love this layout, the periodic table paper is so you, and I'm very impressed with the homemade shield, nice work! Cute buttons and stamp set, too! Sorry I've been MIA, but I promise I'm back on the blogging bandwagon now, heehee! Hugs, Roxy.
ReplyDeleteKieran looks so cute in that costume and the shield looks great! Love this paper pack and the layout is awesome. I love the strips of paper on the right side, and the epoxy embellishments. Very nice!!
