Our challenge this week is to do a project (card, layout) which includes inchies. They don't have to be exactly an inch, mine are actually 1.75"
To be really honest I had a crazy busy week at work this week. It was my last week at Lockerby (it sure was tough saying goodbye today!! I've been teaching there since September) and along with all of the things I had to finish up before I left, we also had our monthly staff meeting, Parent teacher interviews and all of my classes wrote tests (which I had to mark) so they can start fresh after the break. So, scrapbooking was kind of on the back burner (I also had a hard time getting my pics printed) so my layout is a bit simple, but I like how it turned out. I almost didn't go with the black background but it was the one "colour" I knew would work with all of my little squares. All of the products used are CTMH except for the glitter letters I used for the title. They are MM.
These pics are from this past New Years Eve. We just hung out at home and had some fun with the kids. They thought the Shirley Temples were the best things ever (: As usual my kids are half naked, we wouldn't want them to keep all of their clothes on!!
Anyway, I hope you have a chance to join us this week at Use It or Lose It!!! You will also have to check out the blog each Wednesday for ideas on how to organize your scraps!! Each member of the DT will be taking turns sharing their organizing ideas with you (:

I really like this layout! Sometimes simple is best and you really stuck to the challenge! The black background looks great!
ReplyDeleteAh, good times! I like the simplicity of the layout and the tiny pictures. What a nice memory this will be for you. I also remember new years eves when I was a kid - they were fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the inchies on a lo. Great job
ReplyDeleteJenn, love the lay out and the rounded corners on the inchies which really seems to finish it off!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool, I love the black background and your bright inchies, and just how it's laid out, very striking! I'm hoping to get in on this one, but with spring break here, my scrapping time is cut considerable - damn kids won't leave me alone! So are you off work for a while, or do you have something new lined up? Keep us posted, eh? Big hugs, Roxy.
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute. It has a really nice look. And please why would any child want to be dressed - it just seems to be a theme..lol. I had the same problem with my girls when they were little.
