Together

When I was at the Spring Fling weekend crop, many of the girls were doing a workshop on a layout to put in a shadow box. I wasn't willing to give up the time needed to dedicate myself to the project so I didn't sign up, but after seeing some of theirs completed I thought I would give it a whirl. It isn't as fancy as theirs but I am happy with the results (:
The picture isn't the best but I liked it for this paper. It is of my Dad and Azelyn just cuddling on the couch while they watch TV together.
The pic is matted on pink velvet paper (thanks to Kathy for cutting it out on her grand calibur for me!!) the patterned paper is Prima, the flowers are mostly Recollections. I used Graphically Speaking to cut out the title, Art Philosophy to cut out the big butterfly and paper doily, and my SU embosslit and MS punch to cut the little butterflies. Bling is Eva and I think the doily is K&C company?? The pretty border at the bottom is Prima I think??

It looks like my computer is back in business!! I got it back "unfixed" but they actually fixed what I sent it in for (the screen), they just found water damage (oops, darn coffee!!) on the keyboard and motherboard that I couldn't afford to fix ($900 to repair a $500 computer!!!)

It is camp season though, so I'm not sure how much scrapping I'm going to get in!! Hopefully I'll stay ahead enough to have something to post each week.

Have a great long weekend everyone!!! We are heading out to camp and I heard on the radio this afternoon that there is already a fire ban!! so I guess our first few nights at camp will be fireless ):

  2. How lovely -- and to think you didn't even have to attend the workshop to produce it! I'm not surprised as you are one talented young lady -- perhaps I'll commission you to make me one someday!

  4. Hi Jenn, I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for always leaving such nice comments on my blog. And no worries about calling me Kerry, you'd be surprised how often that happens. Lol PS, your layout is stunning!! Really nice work :)

  5. Hey, not sure how I missed this one - it's INCREDIBLE!!! I can't believe how beautiful it is, I just love all the embellishments and bling, and the photo is truly priceless - they look so comfy all snuggled together! Glad your computer is up and running, it sure is a pain when they die on us, isn't it? I've figured that mine is fine, if a bit slow, as long as I don't play videos - then it totally freezes up, grrrrr! Have fun camping, too bad about the campfire ban, but I'm sure you'll have fun anyway. Hope to hear from you soon, hugs, Rox.
