XOXO

I started scrapbooking 6 years ago when I signed up to be a Close To My Heart consultant (Feb 2nd was my anniversary) The reason I signed up was that I wanted to do a scrapbook of our wedding pictures. Well, 6 years later and 10 1/2 years married, I have made a total of 12 pages for our wedding album!! ): and some of those still have to be journalled. On the upside though, I have scrapbooked a lot of other things along the way (:
This layout was done using the CTMH Sonoma workshop on the go. I debated for a bit about getting it but I am so glad I did!! The colours and theme work perfectly with out wedding pictures. I have started the second layout so hopefully I will have it finished in the next week or so to show you. This was the first time I have done the scalloped border with a corner rounder, I have to say it wasn't too difficult!! The only catch is that you have to have one that you can take the guard off of. The title was stamped with the Bohemian Alpha, definitely one of my favs!!

Off to finish up my plans for the first week of the new semester!! I'm really going to miss my students from last semester!! on the whole they were a good bunch (:

5/78 pages complete!

  1. Congratulations! On your scrapiversary and a beautiful page! Love the colour combo. My upline with Stampin Up says that green and purple is her favourite colour combo to work with! Can't say as I work with it much but I do love it!!

  2. Hey, congrats, Jenn! Sometimes I think of going back to CTMH, but I spend more money than I make, and I can't really justify it now, especially seeing I have sooooooo much stash to use up! This page is gorgeous, I love the photos, and how you embellished with the flowers and hardware (are those ribbon slides I see?) My wedding album is also unfinished, and it's in a CM album (don't really like using those anymore, not sure why, probably the whole "can't move stuff around in them easily" thing) and we're coming up on 13 years - yikes, can't believe it! New semester, eh? Did you finish your marking? Hopefully you'll get a good crew! Hugs, Roxy.

  4. Love the layout and those swirlls and flowers in the corners. Simple, yet elegant. Beautiful work as always! And, as long as you stay married, you have an infinite amount of time to work on your album, which should never be quite complete!

  5. Such beautiful layout...worthy of such beautiful pictures!!! I did my wedding album as my first project back when I scrapped at creative memories workshops. I kind of cringe now.. Congrats on your anniversary!

  6. Your layout is so pretty. Don't feel so bad, I have been married for almost 15 years and don't have a single wedding photo scrapbooked. They all seem to be perfect in the wedding album the photographer gave us. I don't think I will mess with it. There are so many things to scrapbook!
