Catchin' Worms- Scrap & Stamp Challenge

This week our challenge Scrap & Stamp is SUMMER FUN!! That's an easy one for me because I have a tonne of pics from our summers!! Hopefully you have some summer pics kicking around so you can join us! Just remember to use a stamp somewhere on your page. Click on the link above to check out what the other DT created (:

These pics are from a day we went fishing out at camp (Lake Manitou on Manitoulin Island). The kids don't always like fishing with their Dad because he usually goes downrigging (you just keep going and going and going...) but this time we went for something other than Lake Trout so the kids got to use worms and cast and stuff. Lee got Azelyn all set up with her hook and worm and casted it out. She then reeled it in, with no fish. I was expecting her to be disappointed but instead she yelled "look!! look!! I caught a worm!!" She thought it was the best thing in the world (:

I found (thanks Roxy!!) this fabulous sketch from Sketches in Thyme so I can enter it in their June collection (: Products are MME and BG paper, CTMH cs, liquid glass, ink, and stamps (the little worm is from Wonderful Charms, and the 100% Girl is from Just for Girls). I used a SU circle punch for the border, Thickers letters and the star is Tim Holtz grungeboard.

  3. Hey Jenn, just saw your comments about the images on cards recently posted. The first one, Graduation Gilly is a Prairie Fairy image. All her stuff is gorgeous and she is equally gorgeous as a person. The fish image, was a free one from the internet. I go daily to the free digi site here ( http://freedigitalstamps.blogspot.com/ ) and get the ones that interest me. Send me your email....see what I can do to assist with the fish one.

Thanks for the offer of coffee...we are travelling through the US though and popping back in to Canada in Sarnia. Would have been wonderful to meet you!!

  5. That is sooooo funny! Love this page, and who knows, maybe one of us will win a prize from this sketch! I have that grungeboard star, too, you've inspired me to use it on my next layout! Oh, and I'll definitely have to get in on scrap & stamp now that I am a commenter again, haha! Hugs, Roxy.
