SNOW!!

We have a bit of it, but hopefully we'll get more for Christmas!! It can leave by January 31st though (: Wishful thinking, I know!!
These layouts are of some pics my Mom took when the boys were staying with her 2years ago. I had to go by the boys' snowsuits to figure out if it was last year or the year before. Kieran hasn't grown too much in that time!!
Aidan, with some help from Kieran, made a whole snow family up at the top of Mom & Dad's driveway. My kids call my Mom, Hunny, Snow Hunny is the one with the beautiful hair (: Mom said the family stuck around for weeks!! She's hoping the boys will build her a new family this year (:
The pages were done using CTMHs Wonderland WOTG, and I still had lots of paper left for cards!! The little stamp that comes with the kit is very cute!! The title was stamped with our Friendship Alphabet. I love the new Pin Clips, you just put a bit of bling in the middle and fancy things up (:

RIBS!!!!

Look at my little lady!!! I couldn`t believe it when I saw her walking towards me, with that huge plate of ribs, just mowing down!! My cousin`s husband makes unbelievable ribs and Azelyn decided she should try some out (: Needless to say she didn't finish them all but she made a good attempt. Good thing the lake was close by to wash her face in!!
The paper is BoBunny, the chipboard, brads and background stamps are all CTMH, I used the Graphically Speaking cartridge to cut the title, a white uniball to journal, Stickles,  and a MS punch for the border.
I am going to enter this in the 2 Sisters Challenge, punches and/or die cuts, and over at Wee Memories, Free For All challenge.

My Girl

I don't very often get to scrap pics of me so I was very anxious to find just the right paper, layout and embellies for this one of Azelyn and I. I have to say it was tough trying to find paper that worked with the shirt I was wearing but with Melissa's help I did it!! It is the same Kaiser Kraft paper I used for my Kraftin' Kimmie Day layout but it is such fabulous paper!!
I made my first ribbon flower using a gluber!! The center is a button I got out of my Aunt's button jar (: I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. The other flowers are Recollection. The bling is Zva and Kaiser. The crocheted lace is dollar store. I cut the circle die cut with cricut's Elegant Edges (an amazing cartridge!!), the title with Storybook, and the leaves with an MS punch. The cs is BoBunny Double Dot!! I am so in love with that paper!! It makes matching so much easier!! The layout was inspired by one I saw in Scrapbooks Etc.
I'm thinking I might actually frame this one for my living room, my walls are purple (: so it would go really well.

I am entering this layout in Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge- Borders and Flowers.

Believe...

it or not, I'm back!! I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post ): I've been pretty busy over the last few weeks, between work, my kids, Halloween, and being away every other weekend!!!

I had a beautiful weekend last weekend at Blue Mountain Resort!! A bunch of us girls went away for my Aunt Nise's 60th birthday. We had a blast shopping at all of the wonderful little stores, eating at the fabulous restaurants, and spending the afternoon at the Scandinave Spa!! I would recommend it to anyone!!

Two weeks before that I was away at Fall Flurry, a weekend that the ladies from OC Scrapbookers put on. It has quickly become an annual event for my friend Jen and I!! We are like little kids before Christmas, counting down the days (: I thought I would do a few layouts and then maybe get my Christmas cards done while I was there, but I was having such a good time with the layouts that that is all I did all weekend!! I managed to complete 20 pages!! My record so far for these weekends. I just finally got pictures taken today (it's not raining or snowing so I could go outside and take them) so now I should have some regular posts for awhile!

The layout I am posting today is actually the one I did with my Scrapping Group last Friday. It is the first layout from CTMHs Believe WOTG. I changed it up a bit by swapping some of the papers, using the Cocktail Alpha stamp and adding some Liquid Applique to santa but other then that it is pretty much the same. All products are CTMH except for the copics I used to colour Santa's suit.
The pics are of my kids last Christmas morning. It's not very often I get Codie in pics with the little ones these days so these will be special when they are older. They were all still a little bit sleepy but I think they're cute (:

Spooktacular

Happy Sunday!! Man am I glad this week is done!! Lee has been away hunting and I had a million and one things going on!!! Parent Teacher Interviews at my school, scrapbooking group, a Christmas card workshop.... on top of all of the other regular day to day things!! Thank goodness I have Codie to help out!!

I am really wishing I was in London today so that I could be taking part in all of the fun at Kraftin' Kimmie Day!! but unfortunately I couldn't make it ): I went last year and had a blast and I would have loved to go this year to meet the amazing Annie Rodrigue in person! not to mention Kraftin Kimmie Girl Tara who wasn't there last year.
Anyway, here I am at home doing laundry ):  (I know! I know! I'm having a little pity party for myself!!)

This layout is the one my scrapping group did this month. It is the Mischief WOTG from Close To My Heart, the same kit I used for the Halloween banner. I love how it turned out and it was pretty straight forward to do. The felt shapes add so much and are so easy!! The stamp set that comes with this workshop is fabulous!! I can see myself using it over and over again. The title was done using Posterboard Alpha.
The pics are of my kids 2 years ago. They weren't the best pics but they worked well for this layout.

My dear blogging friend Roxy reminded me that this would be perfect for the challenge over at Creative Accents so I am going to enter it in their October: Use the colour Orange Challenge.

The kids and I are off to the grocery store to pick out some pumpkins!! Have a great week!!

Sunshine

Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone!!! I have been spending the morning downloading songs to add to my new Ipod Shuffle that I bought so I would have something to keep me entertained while I try out a thing called exercise ): I signed my whole family up at the Y at the beginning of September and just finally got in to meet with one of their trainers to set up an exercise/weight program for myself. I'm actually quite excited to get started I just hope I am motivated enough to stick with it. I'm already feeling muscles I didn't know I had just from testing out the weights the other night ):
The kids have been enjoying it though!! They are all doing swimming lessons plus one other thing. Aidan is enjoying Judo which will be good for him because discipline is a big thing!! Azelyn is in Kindergym and Kieran is our little gymnastics superstar!!! They put him into the advanced boys after one day in beginners (: I knew there had to be a sport out there for him!!!

Anyway, this is a layout I did of Azelyn using the CTMH Sophia workshop on the go. I have had this kit along with the pics just sitting there begging to be put together so I finally did it!! Everything is CTMH except for the border punch which was Martha's. I made a stamping boo boo with the bird at the top but I don't think it even really shows??

I think that this layout completes my challenge for this year!!!! and I still have my weekend crop in a couple of weeks to get a bunch done!! Maybe I will challenge myself to another 26 pages before the end of the year just to keep me going (:

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Birthdays are good for you...

the more you have the longer you live!
My Dad's 60th was yesterday and we are having what was supposed to be a surprise party (Mom caved) tonight.
I loved this little LOTV image and thought it would be perfect for his card. I used MME Stella & Rose Hattie paper, and CTMH sentiment and hemp. I stamped this cutie in Momento ink and then coloured him with my copics. I cut the image out with my Spellbinder die.
I am going to enter this in Cute Card Thursday's challenge 184 Animal Crackers.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
