Believe...

it or not, I'm back!! I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post ): I've been pretty busy over the last few weeks, between work, my kids, Halloween, and being away every other weekend!!!

I had a beautiful weekend last weekend at Blue Mountain Resort!! A bunch of us girls went away for my Aunt Nise's 60th birthday. We had a blast shopping at all of the wonderful little stores, eating at the fabulous restaurants, and spending the afternoon at the Scandinave Spa!! I would recommend it to anyone!!

Two weeks before that I was away at Fall Flurry, a weekend that the ladies from OC Scrapbookers put on. It has quickly become an annual event for my friend Jen and I!! We are like little kids before Christmas, counting down the days (: I thought I would do a few layouts and then maybe get my Christmas cards done while I was there, but I was having such a good time with the layouts that that is all I did all weekend!! I managed to complete 20 pages!! My record so far for these weekends. I just finally got pictures taken today (it's not raining or snowing so I could go outside and take them) so now I should have some regular posts for awhile!

The layout I am posting today is actually the one I did with my Scrapping Group last Friday. It is the first layout from CTMHs Believe WOTG. I changed it up a bit by swapping some of the papers, using the Cocktail Alpha stamp and adding some Liquid Applique to santa but other then that it is pretty much the same. All products are CTMH except for the copics I used to colour Santa's suit.
The pics are of my kids last Christmas morning. It's not very often I get Codie in pics with the little ones these days so these will be special when they are older. They were all still a little bit sleepy but I think they're cute (:

57/78 pages

  1. Cute, cute layout. I like all the extra touches. I like the way you made Santa stand out with what looks to be Liquid Applique. Thanks for sharing! :-)

  2. So cute, Jenn! I love the Cocktail Alpha, and Santa is pretty darn cute, too! And what's with the half naked kids?! Do you have wood heat or something? Our kids were always half naked in Dawson City in the middle of winter, the house got so hot with our little wood stove! Anyway, glad you're back in action and that you've had some good times this past month, you deserve it! Hugs, Roxy.

We have moved, dealt with a family crisis and now are in the midst of a complete home renovation....good times~ Loving the posts and spending my day with a coffee and looking back at all i missed.
