Parents - Scrap & Stamp Challenge

Long time no see!!! I feel like I'm so out of touch with reality these days!!! I am enjoying camp though and have had a chance to do some reading (: I just finished The Book of Negros (amazing by the way) and have moved on to Room. I hope you are all having a chance to enjoy the warm weather without melting away!! It's so hot here I'm even breaking a sweat scrapbooking ):

Anyway, this weeks challenge at Scrap & Stamp is to do a layout which involves Parents in some way. For my layout I used pics of my parents, some old some new. All of the materials I used were part of CTMHs You & Me kit. It was hard to get the newer picture the same tone as the old pics but I hope they work OK together. I thought I would leave the journaling for my Mom to do that is why it is still blank.
So I hope you can join us this week and don't forget to use a stamp somewhere on your layout!!

47/52 pages complete (: Look out goal here I come!!!

  1. Oh my god do you ever look like your Mom!!! What a lovely idea and great page(s). I know they must be wonderful parents to have produced you! Nice Job.

  3. Your parents sure are adorable! I love your LO, too, especially the ribbon and tags, but I also like how you've arranged the photos with the white space all around. Sooooo nice! I can't believe you're almost at 52 LO's, what are you going to do when you reach your goal?

  4. I love that layout!!! So happy to see that ribbon in the new catty! Are you enjoying Room? I would recommend Still missing by Chevy Stevens...way better!!! :) I read it first which I think is why Room didn't live up to my expectations.

  5. Hey Jenn,
Beautiful layout! Glad to hear you are enjoying your summer. I also enjoyed Book of Negroes. I just finished "I know this much is true" by Wally Lamb - it was very good.
    Take care,
    Shanna :)
