This week at Scrap & Stamp the challenge is to make your own patterned paper. You can use stamps, ink, paint... Just have some fun and see what you can come up with (: and remember to use a stamp somewhere on your layout so that you qualify for the prize!! Once you're finished head over to the challenge blog and link yourself up!!
Instead of printing out new photos, lately I have been going through all of the pics I have printed off and never scrapbooked. This layout is of Codie, and the pics are form about 5 years ago!!! We were out at camp and he was searching for critters as usual (: I asked him if he could remember what was in the bucket and he's sure it was a baby ling.
I scraplifted this LO from the current CTMH catty. I wanted to use the February SOTM- Friendship to make my paper and I really liked the way this layout was put together. All of the paper, buttons, floss are CTMH. I used SU and EKSuccess punches, and chipboard from my stash.
Sorry the picture isn't fabulous but it was pouring rain here at the time so I had to take it inside.

Abracadabra meets Kraftin' Kimmie Day
I started this layout way back in October but didn't get around to finishing it, so it was one of the first projects I made myself work on when I was away at Spring Fling. The pictures are all from my fabulous trip to Kraftin' Kimmie Day in September and because I had so many that I wanted to include, I used a layout from CTMH's Magic book called Abracadabra. It uses our Flip Flaps and one page ends up being 6!!! So this one 2 page layout is actually 7 (: It took a lot of planning and figuring but I was very happy with the end result!
The main 2 page layout (includes pics of me with Krafty Girls; Kimmie, Andrea, Melanie, Krista, and Sheila from SGD)
This is the stamp that we received in our goody bags (:
Pics include my GFs Chantal & Debbie watching Melanie colouring and my GF Steph working at Andrea's table.
Below is a pic with all of the flaps opened (sorry for the glare but I had to take the pictures with the page protectors)
Close up of the inside page
Close up of the flaps (journalling is hidden) Pics include Sheila & her hubby Mike from SGD posing with their best customer of the day, my GF Kirsty (: and my GF Maria working away with Andrea
I met up with my friend Shanna (in pic with Kimmie and I) from Thunder Bay- it was such a nice surprise to see her there because it's been 5 years since I was in Thunder Bay!! The other pic is of the Junior Krafty Girls (:

I may still add some little tags for journaling here and there, but for now I am happy with it.
Products used: Ashlyn's Alphabet (cricut), Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, Kaiser Kraft Utopia paper, Prima flower, copics, spellbinder, CTMH flip flaps, cs, ribbon, and bling. $ store bling, SU punch.
22/52 pages (I didn't count this in my page count for last year because it wasn't done so I'm getting a boost this year (: )

Jellybeans??
Happy Easter everyone!!! We just finished our whirlwind egg hunt and the kids are spending some time enjoying their new goodies (:
Here is card #2. I coloured the image exactly the same, but used the sketch from Mojo Monday instead. This one was for my parents. Again I just used scraps I had in my bins. The border and fern punches are MS. Flowers are Recollections.
13/24 cards (I think I might change my challenge to a card a week (: )

Happy Easter (:
I made a couple of quick cards today for our parents. For this one I used the CPS sketch for this week. I had a chance to practice colouring house mouse stamps, with the guidance of my friend Kirsty, a couple of weeks ago and once you get the idea they're actually quite easy (: So for this card I coloured up Mudpie Holding Jellybeans. I love Mudpie, he's just so darn cute!!!! All of the paper I used for this card was from my scrap bin.

Mornin' Sweetie!
I made this card for a dear friend of mine. She is one of those people that HAS TO have her coffee as soon as she gets up in the morning, so the first time I saw this image I thought of her right away (: She might end up seeing it before I give it to her but I decided to enter this weeks challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, so I need to post it now. The challenge at KKS is BINGO!! I used punches/dies, bling, and ribbon for my BINGO. I am also entering it in the Flowers challenge over at One Crazy Stamper.
For this card I used BG Eva paper, Kraftin' Kimmie's Angie, MS and SU punches, Recollection flowers, CTMH bling and cs, spellbinders, and my copics.
Happy Easter!!!!

Christmas Music - Scrap & Stamp Challenge
Our challenge at Scrap & Stamp this week is to do a 2 page layout. That used to be the only way I scrapbooked (: I've evolved though and sometimes do only one page!!
This is a layout of Kieran from a couple of Christmases ago, he hasn't changed a whole bunch since then! We had one of our family gatherings at my cousins house and his wife is an amazing musician!! She has a wonderful assortment of instruments but Kieran really took to the chimes. You can see him through the chimes in the last picture.
I kept this layout pretty simple. I felt like it might need more but I liked the simplicity so I left it alone (other than adding the ribbon) Most of the products are CTMH. The title and flowers were Making Memories and I used a bit of Stickles on the tree. I used my new Page Maps book, my dear friend Jen gave me for my Birthday (:, for inspiration.
I'm off at a weekend of scrapbooking this weekend so hopefully I'll have all kinds of new projects to share when I get back!!!
Have a fabulous weekend!!!

It's a party!
I've been running a monthly group with some friends and we have been working on the CTMH Workshop on the Go (WOTG) kits. These layouts were done with the Fanfare kit. Kieran's birthday was 2 weeks ago so this kit was perfect to scrap his pictures with. Everything used in the layout is CTMH, except the scalloped circle punch is SU (I don't have the CTMH one yet ):
Here is a close up of the balloons. The strings are white so they're a bit hard to see.
Enjoy this fabulous Spring weather if you're getting it!!!! I can't wait for the rest of the snow to disappear!!

How Big is Your Smile?
Our challenge this week at Scrap & Stamp is to scrap a Silly Moment.
The pictures I used are of my older brother and his daughter. My brother thought it would be fun to measure her smile (: so out came the tape measure!! They had lots of fun and even measured a few other people's smiles while they were at it.
Almost all of the products I used were CTMH. The paper and stickers are from an older paper pack called Notebook. I used Delightful Alphabet (again!! I realized after I was done I have used this set on quite a few of my recent LOs), and Picture Perfect stamp sets. The only things not CTMH were the little jewels at the bottom, I think they are MM, and the chipboard letters.
My inspiration for this layout came from a LO in this month's Scrapbooks Etc (p71) by Michelle Lanning.
Have a great weekend!!!
