Veranda - January's Workshop on the Go

Close To My Heart has these wonderful Workshop on the Go packs that you can purchase to do a card or a layout workshop (or both!!). They include a level 2 paper pack, embellishments of some sort, a workshop guide, and a B-sized stamp set that is only available in this package. You can also add recommended embellishments to enhance your projects even more. I've decided to start with Veranda and will follow with the other 3 new paper packs in the new Spring catty (released January 1st)
If you are interested in this workshop send me an email or leave a comment here.

2010 Layout Challenge

So I've got really ambitious and maybe a little crazy (: and I've joined a layout challenge with some of my fellow CTMH consultants. My goal is a little smaller than some of the others but it is HUGE for me!! I'm going to try and complete 104 single layouts or 52 double, which means, I should be doing one 2 page layout a week!! You are more than welcome to join us. All of the participants are listed on the side bar here on my blog.

Acrylic Christmas Album

I made this album in October when I was at Fall Flurry and I finally took pics today! This is the first acrylic album I have done. I was so nervous about doing it that it took me a year after buying the album to finally get to it!
The acrylic album, stamp sets, most of the rub-ons, buttons, ribbon, some bling, and the paper (Jingle) is all CTMH. The rest of the bling and some rub-ons are from my stash. I also used CTMH acrylic paint and some Cuttlebug embossing folders.

I'm not sure why my pics are coming out sideways??? Sorry!!!

There is a clear page in here. I just added a rub-on and some bling. I plan to add two pics back to back on this page so I didn't add any paper.

Kissing Prince Charming

Azelyn got a kick out of kissing the frog out at camp this summer!! When I saw Kimmie's Lillith stamp (from Kimmie's Korner) I had to have it!! She was the perfect addition to this layout!! I used my copics to colour her and the frog. I still have a lot to learn about using the copics but they are so fun to colour with!! The ribbon sticking out the top has a poem attached to it for Azelyn to read when she is a little older (: If you would like to read it just send me a note and I can email it to you.

Merry Monsters Kids Cards - 10 from 1 template

I made these cards at the crop I was at last weekend!! Thanks to my good friend Judy for the pattern and for taking this picture!! I used CTMH Animal Cookies creative basics, Nursery Bash and Merry Monsters stamp sets, inks, brads and ribbon. I used a few of my cuttlebug folders, some stickles and my copics to colour.

A card for baby Ava

This is a quick card I made for my cousin's new baby girl who was FINALLY named Ava yesterday (she was born on the 7th).

I used the cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder for the pink cardstock. The stamp set is CTMH Beary Much (retired). I tried a new thing with attaching the ribbon using staples (thanks Laurel!!)

I wish I would have used my copics to colour in the bear but I was in a hurry and I am still waiting on my Momentos ink to do my stamping. All product except for the light pink flower is CTMH.

Baby Card

This is another card I made at Deb's yesterday. I actually made 2 of them. One for my cousin's baby shower, which is today, and another for my friend Laura's baby Anna Mae.
I made this card using a variety of paper, a Martha Stewart Punch, CTMH ribbon and Flower Child stamp set, and my copics. The pattern was from the CTMH Wishes book. The sentiment was from SU.

A Day for Me!!

I'd like to thank my friend Deb for hosting a crop at her house yesterday!! I had a great time with all of the girls, stamping, colouring and EATING!!!! I had a chance to try out my new copic markers and made a trifold card for my Dad for his birthday.

For this card I used CTMH Back Country paper pack, and the Beary Best stamp set. I used Momento black ink to stamp the images and copic ciao markers to colour them in. Thanks to Stephanie for giving me mini lessons on how to use them!! The 'You're the Beary Best' was heat embossed in white.

Trucks

This was a layout I did to show how you can use Random Stamping instead of a piece of B&T. I couldn't find a patterned sheet I liked, to go with the colours I wanted to use, so I random stamped a sheet of white (& green) cardstock with the Little Builder stamp set. The title was done with Rustic Alphabet ss and the little card was done with Checklist ss. All materials used were CTMH.

Tickled Pink

I'm cheating I know!!! This is a layout I did around Easter time with CTMH Special Tickled Pink. It was a kit that came with everything you needed to complete the pages, paper, die cuts, stamp set, embellishments.... This layout has pictures of me with my Mom (when I was a baby), one with my Grandma (mom's side) at my wedding, and one with my daughter Azelyn, when she was a few months old.

Animal Cookies

This was a quick layout I did a couple of months ago using CTMH Animal Cookies pp and stickease. I'm not usually a big user of stickers but I didn't have the stamp set for this paper yet.

I tucked the journalling up under one of the pictures, so you can just pull it down to read.
The journalling is in the white uniball (love that pen!!)

My son Kieran says sunder instead of thunder when he is singing the song, just so you know I was spelling it wrong on purpose.

Christmas Cards from Wishes

My Mom and I got together this weekend to try out one of the workshops in CTMH's new book Wishes. We made 20 cards (2 of each) using just 4 sheets of cardstock and 2 B&Ts!! All of the materials used were CTMH except for the SS with the moose and hedgehogs. I used the Aspen paper, Holiday Jingle SS, Chillin' SS, and Creme Brulee ribbon rounds.

Princess Layout

These are some pictures of my daughter Azelyn. My mom made her dress up clothes for Christmas and she was showing them off. I random stamped a sheet of cardstock with CTMH's Happy Endings stamp set. Most materials are CTMH.

Mother's Day -Whoo Loves You Card

I made this card for our mom's for Mother's Day this year. I used the CTMH Whoo Loves You stamp set, and used paper piecing on the owl. I used my cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, and a spellbinders die cut. All materials are CTMH.
